MyBizApps Service Agreement
This is the agreement between your business (“you”) and MyBizApps for using the MyBizApps service. It is written in plain language on purpose. By creating an account, or by using the service, you agree to it.
1. Your account and the core
MyBizApps is a set of products that all run on one shared core — customer management, your team directory, management dashboards, and the ability to accept card payments. The core comes with every product; it is not sold on its own. One account is one business. The person who creates the account is its administrator and is responsible for the people they add to it and for what those people do.
2. Products and fees
You sign up for a product and can add or remove products at any time from Business Control. There is no base fee, no setup fee, and no contract term. Products are priced one of two ways:
Monthly products
$21 per month, per product (list price), billed together on one subscription in advance. Turning a product on or off part-way through a month is prorated on your next invoice. Turning off your last monthly product ends the subscription at the end of the period you have already paid for. A promotion applies for the period and on the terms it is advertised with.
Pay-per-order products
These have no monthly fee. Your customers pay by card when they order, and MyBizApps keeps a small fee from each paid online order:
| Product | Fee per paid online order |
|---|---|
| Drink Orders | 25¢ per order |
| Food Truck | 1% of the order subtotal |
| Hair Salon | 1% of the appointment price |
| Meat Locker | 1% of each online payment (deposit or balance) |
The fee is taken from the card payment itself, at the time the customer pays. You choose in each product's settings whether to absorb it or to add it to the customer's total as a visible service fee. In Hair Salon each stylist connects her own Stripe account; the fee comes off each online card payment to her, and cash appointments carry no fee. In Meat Locker the fee comes off each online card payment (a deposit or a balance) on your company's account; cash and check payments you record on an order carry no fee. Card processing is handled by Stripe on your own Stripe account, at Stripe's standard rates, which you pay in addition to the MyBizApps fee. The MyBizApps fee is not returned when you refund an order to your customer. Orders placed through a pay-per-order product must be paid online — there is no pay-at-the-counter option through the service.
Usage charges
Some features send text messages, send email on your behalf, or use AI. Those are metered and billed monthly at the per-unit rates shown under Business Control → Subscription, which is the current rate card. Customer texts sent by Drink Orders are covered by that product's per-order fee and are not metered separately.
Changes to fees
We may change prices and fees. We will email your account administrator before a change takes effect, and a change never applies to a month you have already paid for.
3. Paying us
Subscription and usage charges are billed by card through Stripe. If a payment fails we will retry it and let your administrator know; if it keeps failing we may turn off the products it covers until it is settled. Except where the law requires otherwise, charges are not refunded for partial months.
4. Payments you take from your customers
When your customers pay you through MyBizApps (a storefront order, a pay-by-text link, an invoice), the payment runs on your own Stripe account. You are the merchant of record: the sale, its taxes, refunds, and any disputes are yours. Stripe's own terms apply to that account.
5. Your data
Your data is yours. We store and process it to run the service for you, we do not sell it, and the people on your account see only your business's data. You can ask us to delete your account and its data at any time. We use third parties to run parts of the service (hosting, database, email, text messaging, payments, AI) and share with them only what the feature needs.
6. Acceptable use
Use the service for your own business and within the law — including the rules on text messaging consent, card acceptance, and your customers' privacy. Do not use it to send spam, to store data you are not allowed to hold, or to interfere with the service or other businesses on it.
7. Availability, support, and liability
We work to keep the service available and will tell you about planned downtime where we can, but the service is provided as is, without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation. Support is by email. To the extent the law allows, our liability to you for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim arose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost sales.
8. Ending the agreement
You can stop using the service, turn products off, or ask us to close your account at any time. We may close an account that is not paying for its products or that breaks section 6, after telling the administrator.
